Stewardship Ministry Team

The Stewardship Ministry Team facilitates the effective use of our financial and human resources. The team is concerned with three major areas. One is the overall financial operation of the church including budgeting, month to month financial review, and oversight of the churches endowment and special gifts. The second is financial stewardship, including annual operating and special capital campaigns as well as year-round stewardship education. The third is the stewardship of the congregation's time and talents. The Ministry Team is staffed by the church administrator and the head of staff.

Stewardship Ministry Team Responsibilities

• Development of year round stewardship programs (time, talent, money),
• General fiscal oversight, including monthly a review of financial activity,
• Initiation and oversight of the annual General Fund stewardship campaign,
• Research, analysis, and formulation of the annual General Fund budget,
• Initiation and oversight of any special financial campaigns, including capital,
• Nurture, and facilitate the stewardship of the congregation’s time and talents, and
• Oversee the trustee duties through the Endowment and Special Gifts Sub-Committee.

Building and Grounds Ministry Team

Building and Grounds Ministry Team is responsible for the upkeep of the church and campus. The Team also has responsibility for overseeing the pre-school, approving the use of the church by outside groups and oversight of the church bus.

Personnel Ministry Team

We hire, support and nurture our paid staff in their efforts to serve the congregation. Personnel Policies are maintained to ensure staff is treated with compassion, justice and love. With the Head of Staff and Session, we adjust the staff organization to best serve changes in the needs and goals of the congregation.
