Pastor's Corner

Rev. Zachary Wilson is currently serving as interim pastor at First Presbyterian.

Zach grew up on an apple orchard near Yakima, WA. He has 2 brothers, one of which is his twin. His parents are active in international mission work and he had extended stays in Peru and Kenya when he was growing up.

After graduating from high school he planned to prepare for medical school at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. He felt called to follow a different path, however. Zach and his wife, Lutheran pastor Jennifer Rome, earned their degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and found themselves moving to Minnesota.

Zach started out as the interim pastor for Viking Lutheran parish. From there he received a call to be the interim associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church in White Bear Lake and in 2003 began his ministry as solo pastor at Spirit of Life Presbyterian in Apple Valley until accepting the call to interim ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater.

Zach's wife is a pastor at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagan. They have 2 daughters and live in St. Paul.
